This is an application for restoration of Criminal Appeal No.471/2014 which was dismissed for non prosecution on 12.7.2016. 2) Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned counsel for the contesting respondent No.1. The learned counsel for respondent No.1 vehemently opposed the application. However, for the reasons stated in the application and in the interest of justice, I am inclined to allow the present application subject to payment of costs of Rs.2000/- to be paid by the applicant. The costs to be paid to the High Court Legal Services Committee within a period of one week from today. Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) subject to payment of costs to be paid by the applicant within the afore stated stipulated period.
