An intervention application is filed on behalf of Anjali Tara Babanrao Pawar, Director of NGO, titled as "Sakhee" wherein a claim is set to the effect that the NGO is exposing the malpractices and crimes which are committed in adoption centre at the instance of the adoption agencies and authorities.
After narrating the details of the work carried out by the NGO in the field of adoption, an intervention is sought on the basis that the method which is being adopted, would result into the children being used for trafficking, gaming, clinical trials and other pernicious activities. The aim for which the NGO is seeking intervention in the writ petitions is to assist the court in determining the right modalities which have been prescribed by law before ensuring that adoption takes a legal shape. 2 / 3

On perusal of the application for intervention, I deem it fit to grant the same and allow the intervener to assist this court. Intervention Application No.2056/2021 is allowed and is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
Since the intervener is allowed to assist this court, the intervener is permitted to advance submissions when the writ petitions are being heard. 3.
It is noticed that in some of the writ petitions, Advocate has filed his vakalatnama, whereas other petitions, the Respondents have been served. No appearance of counsel has come on record. The Petitioners are directed to take necessary steps to intimate the respective counsel to file their vakalatnama on the next date of hearing of the petition so that the petition can be proceed.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents seeks time of two weeks to place an affidavit on record, as he specifically asserts that certain orders which are relevant have not been placed on record and his affidavit is necessary. On such affidavit being filed, a copy shall be submitted in advance to the learned Counsel.
