DATE: 2nd APRIL, 2024 P.C.:- 1] The Petitioner had filed the present writ petition since she was not considered eligible for admission at first M.B.B.S. Course on account of disability of her upper limb. While admitting the writ petition on 24/08/2012 this Court considered the decisions of the Delhi High Court and Madras High Court to hold that guidelines prescribed by the Medical Council of India did not indicate that there was an absolute embargo for admission of students having disability of upper limb. By an interim order, the Petitioner was directed to be treated as eligible and fit for admission. It is informed that the Petitioner has since then completed her M.B.B.S. Course.
