1] Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2] The petition is filed for transfer of C.R. No.403 of 2016, registered with Shahu Nagar Police Station at Mumbai, to any other independent police station.
3] When the above writ petition came up before us, we expressed our dis-satisfaction of the investigation, in the subject crime, and therefore, directed the D.C.P. Zone-V, to remain present before this Court.
4] Mr. Konde Deshmukh, on instructions, from the D.C.P. 1/2
12 WP 2641 OF 2017.odt Zone-5 who is present before the Court, makes a statement that the investigation of the subject crime is now transferred to the Senior Inspector, Kurla Police Station, Bombay.
5] Statement is accepted.
6] In view of the above statement, the grievance of the petitioner no more survives. However, in the interest of justice and in view of the allegations made, D.C.P. Zone -V to supervise the investigation of the subject crime.
7] Subject to above, petition is disposed off.
