Petitioner was placed in Category-1(e) as

2/3 WP-3256-2019 (SR.24) per 11 th May, 1992s Guidelines . As per 15 '

th March, 2010s Guidelines, he has been placed in Category '

no.2(c). Under Category 1(e), he was expected to complete twenty-eight years in prison with remission. However, because of subsequent exercise, he is now to complete twenty-six years with remission.

Learned APP has pointed out that, applicant was convicted on 8th January, 2003 for killing his wife after pouring vegetable oil on her person and igniting her due to doubt on her character.

Effort of learned Counsel for petitioner is to demonstrate that, conduct of petitioner in jail is ideal and his mother is now more than seventy-five years old and ailing. He further

3/3 WP-3256-2019 (SR.24) submits that, daughter of petitioner is still unmarried and there are no other family members to look after them.

We find that, facts being disclosed to invoke sympathy are not relevant in this jurisdiction. The petitioner has not demonstrated any error in the process of categorisation.

Petition is therefore rejected.
