The challenge in this appeal is to the common judgment and decree dated 15 December 1995 made in several Municipal Appeals which were instituted in the year 1997. 2.

The common judgment and order is challenged in First Appeal Nos.714 of 1996, 715 of 1996, 716 of 1996, 717 of 1996, 718 of 1996, 720 of 1996, 721 of 1996, 722 of 1996, 723 of 1996 and 695 of 1996.

By order dated 30 January 2017, the First Appeal No.718 of 1996 was dismissed for non-prosecution. 4.

Today, neither the appellant nor their advocates are present, though the matter was duly notified on the cause list. This matter was pending from the year 1996. Accordingly, no further indulgence can be granted to the appellant.

This appeal is therefore dismissed. The Civil Application for stay does not survive and the same is also dismissed. 6.
