Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties. We are inclined to dispose of this petition as application / representation dated 29.8.2013 filed by Respondent No. 3 1 / 2

WPST. 18890-17 Management, and the application / representation dated 26.3.2017 filed by the Petitioner, are still pending for approval to the post of Shikshan Sevak.

We direct the Respondent authorities to decide the said applications / representations of Respondent No. 3 and the Petitioners, on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of 8 weeks. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of in the aforesaid terms with liberty to apply.

By consent, Writ Petition No. 8604 of 2017 is taken on board. As the petition is covered by the above order and the respondents in both the petitions are same, so also the issue raised in both petitions are same, we are inclined to dispose of this petition also on the aforesaid terms, directing the Respondent authorities to decide the application / representation of the petitioner dated 26.3.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of 8 weeks. Writ petition No. 8604 of 2017 is also accordingly disposed of in the aforesaid terms with liberty to apply. No costs.
