By order dated 26th April 2013, this petition was admitted confined to challenge to the clauses (vi) and (vii) of subRule 3 of Rule 9 of Insecticides Rules, 1971. The learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record a copy of the Insecticide (second amendment) Rules 2016 which came into force on 13th August 2016. By the said amendment Rules, clauses (vi) and (vii) of sub-rule 3 of Rule 9 of the Insecticide Rules,1971 have been omitted.

Hence, challenge in this petition does not survive. Writ petition is disposed of. Rule is discharged.
