Heard learned Advocate for the Applicant and learned APP. 2.
There is an offence registered with the CID Police Station, East District : Sikkim on 11th October, 2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 ["IPC"] and Sections 66(C), 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. It is on the basis of complaint lodged by one Rony Khawas Bhujel. It is lodged against unknown persons. There is an allegation that the First-Informant has invested in Crypto currency through Wazirx Exchange. However, subsequently he realized that he was cheated 1/3
and then lodged the complaint.

It is contended that one Sikandar Chaudhari is arrested and he was working with the present Applicant as POP director/CONTRACTOR and there was some financial dealings. A copy of statement maintained by the Applicant in the name of Sikandar Chaudhari is annexed to Page No.17 and 19. 4.
There is a notice issued under Section 41-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ["Cr.P.C."] by office of Deputy Inspector General of Police to the present Applicant asking him to comply with certain directions. The notice dated 24th March, 2023 and 10th May, 2023 they are annexed. The Applicant wants to cooperate the Police. That is why, this Application for transit bail. The Applicant intends to approach the concerned Court for further directions. There is limited prayer for transit bail for four weeks. The apprehension is well founded.

In view of that, following order is passed.
O R D E R
(i) In case of an arrest in connection with C.R. No. 12 of 2021 registered with CID Police Station, East District : Sikkim for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 120-B of IPC and Sections 66(C), 2/3
66(D) of the IT Act, the Applicant - Sumedh Anant Joshi be released on furnishing personal bond and surety bond of Rs.25,000/-.
(ii) This direction will be in operation for four weeks from today within the State of Maharashtra.

Application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 7.
