Having heard the learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the learned counsel for Respondent Nos.1 and 2, we modify direction (C) in paragraph 10 of our order dated 3rd December 2014 passed in PIL No.134 of 2009. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is ready and willing to plant trees as per the directions contained in our order dated 3rd December 2014 but plantation of trees at this stage would not serve the purpose as the saplings would not survive when the construction activity is going on. It is submitted that the construction is 20,000 sq.mtrs. built up area and therefore the time limit may be extended. VRD

WP7800.15 Having heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for Respondent Nos.1 and 2, we extend the time limit in paragraph 10(C) for submission of report to the Tree Authority and to the Khopoli Municipal Council upto 30th September 2018. In view of the fact that we have extended the time in our order dated 3rd December 2014, nothing survives in this Writ Petition and is disposed of as such.
