Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that 2/3

identical order passed by the Division Bench of this Court on 7th January, 2014 in Writ No.3570 of 2013 be passed in these petitions.

The petitioners claim that they are running social clubs and police are interfering and disturbing in their functioning without any reason. The petitioners' contention is that they are following lawful activities and are abiding all the relevant laws.

We are of the prima facie view that in each and every matter, the order passed like the one passed in Writ Petition No.3570 of 2013 need not be passed. Police are bound to interfere if they notice any illegal activity being carried out and at the same time, the police shall not interfere in the lawful activities.

All the petitions are disposed of.
