Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AGP for the State, we deem it convenient to dispose of the petition by directing respondent No.1 to decide the petitioners' application dated March, 2015 for grant of approval under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, a copy of which is annexed at "Exhibit B", as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order by passing a speaking order and thereafter, communicate the same to the petitioner.
