The petitioners seek transfer from Palghar Zilla Parishad to Nashik Zilla Parishad. The application of the petitioner was allowed. A person is to be transferred to Palghar Zilla Parishad in turn from Nashik Zilla Parishad.

Learned Counsel appearing for Zilla Parishad submits that in such a case seniority list is maintained by Zilla Parishad, Palghar. The present case, according to the learned Counsel, is not based on mutual transfer basis but is based on single transfer application. Therefore, the Zilla Parishad Authorities would go by seniority list maintained in this behalf. According to the learned Counsel, there are six more candidates above the petitioners whose requests for transfer was allowed. After relieving those six candidates above the petitioners, the petitioners will be relieved from Zilla Parishad, Palghar for joining Zilla Parishad, Nashik. The statement made by the learned Counsel is accepted.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that since last ten years the petitioners are working in tribal area which shall be appreciated. The Zilla Parishad Administrations would take appropriate decision, taking into consideration all the relevant factors. 4.
On the basis of the statement made by the learned Counsel for the Zilla Parishad and in view of the above observations, the Writ Petitions are disposed of.
