The challenge in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is to the notification dated 29th May 2014. By the said notification, a draft notification for altering the limits of the Municipal Corporation was published.

By the impugned notification dated 29th May 2014, the objections and suggestions were invited to the draft notification published thereunder. There is no decision taken by the said notification of the alteration of the limits of the Pune Municipal Corporation.

Hence, at this stage, no interference in writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is called for. Writ Petition is rejected. However, all contentions on merits are kept open. (V.L.ACHLIYA,J.) (A.S.OKA,J.)
