1) Heard the rival arguments on the application for bail during pencency of the appeal. The applicant is convicted for the offence under section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act,1988 and sentenced to suffer RI for two years and to pay fine of Rs.2000/-. He is also convicted and sentenced for the offence u/s 13 (1)(d) and 13 (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and sentenced to suffer R.I. for three years and to pay fine of Rs.3000/-. Reportedly, both the fine amounts are paid. 2) During the trial, the applicant / appellant was on bail. Even after conviction the accused/applicant was released on bail, till filing of the appeal. As such the present appellant/applicant be released on same bail, as granted by the trial Court, with fresh bonds to be executed before the trial Court. Application is accordingly disposed of.
