By these petitions, petitioner has sought direction of quashment of FIR no.28 of 2019 registered by the respondent No.2 at the instance of respondent No.3 at Lahori Gate Police Station, North Delhi. Since the said FIR is registered at Delhi, and on being informed that this Court may not have a jurisdiction to deal with the same, Shri.Sarogi do not press prayer Clause (b). N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2

He however submit that he has addressed a complaint by his letter dated 20.06.2019 to the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai and he seeks a limited relief of issuance of direction to the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai to take action on his representation.

At this stage Ms.Pai, learned AGP informed that the Police Commissioner has attended to the said letter and has addressed a communication to the petitioner declining to interfere in the same. She has tendered the copy of the said letter to Shri.Sarogi.

In light of the aforesaid development, the Criminal Writ Petitions does not survive as far as prayer clause (a) is concerned and as far as prayer clause (b) is concerned we grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Court.
