The Applicant seeks pre-arrest bail in C.R.No.267/2023 registered with Vikhroli Police Station, Mumbai for offences punishable under section 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

Heard learned counsel for the Applicant, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the Intervenor. I have perused the records and considered the submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the respective parties.

By order dated 06/07/2023, this Court had granted interim protection to the Applicant. Learned APP states that pursuant to the 1/2

P.H. Jayani 36 ABA1865.2023.odt said order, the Applicant has reported to the Investigating Officer and he has been interrogated. Presence of the Applicant is not required for the purpose of interrogation.

In the light of said statement and in view of the detailed reasons recorded in the order dated 06/07/2023, the interim bail granted on 06/07/2023, stands confirmed. The Applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer as and when required.
