After arguing for sometime, when the Court was not inclined to enlarge the applicant on bail, learned counsel for the applicant sought leave to withdraw this application. She, however, requests that the trial of the applicant be expedited, considering that the applicant is in custody since 2015.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, having regard to the fact that the applicant is in custody for more than six years, the trial of the applicant is expedited. Wakodikar 1/2

The learned Trial Judge to conclude the trial of the applicant on or before 31/12/2021. In the event, the trial does not conclude within the said period, the applicant is at liberty to file a fresh application. 4.

Learned counsel for the applicant to place this order on record before the learned Sessions Judge who is seized of the case, so that the case can be expeditiously decided, as stated aforesaid. 5.
