Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

The subject matter of controversy in the present petition concerns the employment of Respondent Nos.1 to 5. These Respondents were daily-rated employees of the Petitioner, who claim benefits of regularization and permanency. The complaint of Respondent Nos.1, 2, 4 and 5 was allowed by the trial court. The orders have been challenged by the Petitioner Municipal Corporation in the present petition. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that during the pendency of the petition, the Respondents were regularised and made permanent by the Petitioner in accordance with Government Resolution of 1 April 2002. This statement is made on the basis of instructions given by Rupen Ramnath Shinde, authorised representative of Yeola Nagarparishad. Since the Respondents have been regularised and made 1 / 2
