P.C. :- The Petitioner has filed this Contempt Petition stating that there is a non-compliance of the order passed by this Court wherein the Petition filed by the Respondent - State challenging the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal was dismissed.

The Petitioner had approached the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal in respect of grant of deemed date of promotion. The Tribunal had granted the deemed date of promotion in favour of the Petitioner as sought for. Contempt alleged that the Respondents have not granted service benefits. We do not find a positive mandate in the order dated 11 December 2018 regarding the payment of service benefit and the order only confirms the finding of the Tribunal regarding grant of deemed date of promotion. Be that as it may, we are informed that substantial amount of the payment due to the Petitioner pursuant to the grant of deemed date of promotion has already been released. As far as the remaining amount is concerned, the same be released within a period of three months from today.
