The applicant was admitted to interim protection by order dated 7th January, 2021 in connection with the C.R. which narrates the incident from 2003 onwards recording that the allegations are general in nature and bereft of particulars and that the applicant was already entitled for protection.

Learned APP, on instructions from the Investigating officer Mr. Sable, submits that the custodial interrogation of applicant is not necessary.

In the wake of the above, the order passed on 7 January, 2021 is confirmed subject to the following stipulation:

O R D E R

(a) In the event of arrest, the Applicant in connection with Crime No. 115 of 2020 registered with Vasai Police Station shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. bond to the extent of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties of the like amount.

(b) The applicant shall report to the concerned police station as and when directed.

(c) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with facts of case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Officer and should not tamper with evidence.
