1. Counsel for the parties state that they have arrived at an amicable settlement and they have tendered the consent terms signed by the parties and their Advocates. The director of the respondent, who is signatory to the consent terms and the respondent are present. The 1/2

The consent terms provide that a sum of Rs.10,89,650/- and accrued interest, if any, be withdrawn by the respondent along with the provident fund amount due to the respondent-workman from the Employees Provident Funds Organisation.

2. By virtue of settlement, the respondent's counsel states on instructions of his client, the petitioner in Contempt Petition, who is present in the Court that the petitioner in the Contempt Petition does not wish to press the contempt petition.

3. In view of the above, I pass the following order; (i) There will be order in terms of the consent terms. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

(ii) Contempt petition is also disposed. The notice issued therein on 7th August, 2013 is discharged.

(iii) All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
