The only relief sought by the petitioner in this petition is to direct the trial Court to decide the application for discharge preferred by the petitioner expeditiously. Copy of the application has been annexed to this petition as Exhibit-A. Application was filed on 27th February, 2015 vide Exhibit-124. The prosecution was directed to file say on the same day. It is submitted that the application was then heard from time to time and it was pending for disposal for passing orders. However, learned Judge presiding over in the said Court was transferred. It is submitted that presently the application is pending before the Special Judge dealing with the cases of Prevention of Corruption Act, presided Digitally signed by Rajeshri Prakash Aher Date:

rpa 2/2 wp-2855-18.doc over by learned Judge Shri Murumkar. In the circumstances, it is submitted that directions can be issued to the trial Court to decide the application for discharge. It is submitted that the application was again heard and written arguments were tendered on 16th February, 2018, and the matter was adjourned for further argument.
In the circumstances, since the application for discharge is pending since 2015, trial Court is directed to dispose of this application for discharge within a period of four weeks from today in accordance with law.
Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of.
