This application is preferred by original opponent no.2 The New India Assurance Company Ltd. for condonation of 49 days delay in filing First Appeal challenging the judgment and award dt.31.1.2014 passed by MACT, Satara in MACP No.143 of 2008.

The learned counsel for the respondent no.1 to 3 vehemently opposed the present Civil Application.

8 caf2768-14.doc Company has not shown sufficient cause for condonation of 49 days delay. Hence, there is no substance in the present Civil Application.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and the averments made in Civil Application, I am satisfied that the applicant has made out a case for allowing Civil Application. Hence, following order:

a Delay of 49 days in filing First Appeal is condoned.
