P.C.:- Ms. Mhatre, learned APP on instructions from the Superintendent of Nashik-Road Central Prison, Nashik submitted that, the proposal to re-enter name of the Petitioner in the Remission Register, in confirmity with the Notification dated 23rd May, 2018 is pending for consideration before the Deputy Inspector General (Prison), South Region, Mumbai.

2) In view thereof, we direct the said Authority to decide the proposal of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of four weeks from today.

3) In view of the above, nothing further survives in the present Petition at this stage and is accordingly disposed off. 1/2
