Heard learned amicus curiae.

By this application received through post the applicant is seeking expeditious disposal of his trial being Sessions Case No.49 of 2012. It appears that the applicant had filed an application for bail in 2014 being Criminal Bail Application No.1675 of 2014 and this Court (Coram:P.D.Kode,J.) vide order dated 21st January, 2015 had directed the learned Judge seized with the case, to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible and in any event, by the end of July, 2015.

Learned APP states that the trial has commenced; that 9 witnesses in the said case have already been examined and 7 to 8 witnesses are yet to be examined.

Considering the fact that trial has already commenced; 9 witnesses in the said case have already been examined and in view of the order dated 21st January, 2015 passed in Criminal Bail Application No.1675 of 2014, the trial Court to dispose of the case being Sessions Case No.49 of 2012, as expeditiously as possible and in any event by 31st January, 2017. 5.

Accordingly, the Application is disposed of with the aforesaid direction.

Registry to communicate the above order to the learned Sessions Judge, Dindoshi, Mumbai, who is seized of the said case being Sessions Case No.49 of 2012. A copy of the said order also be forwarded to the applicant, who is lodged in Thane Central Prison, Thane. REVATI MOHITE DERE, J.
