WP 12625-2016
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
CIVIL APPELALTE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO. 12625 OF 2016 Shri Ganpat Ramchandra Paradhi .. Petitioner V/s The Tahasildar, Thane & Ors.
.. Respondents Mr. Mahendra Agavekar for the petitioner.
Mr. B.V. Samant, AGP for the State.
CORAM: S.C. DHARMADHIKARI & SMT. BHARATI H. DANGRE, JJ.
DATE : 22nd FEBRUARY 2018 P.C.:
After having heard Mr. Agavekar for the petitioner, we do not see how the factual disputes arising out of the order of the Tahsildar could be resolved in writ jurisdiction. More so, when the petitioner can approach at least two Appellate and one Revisional Authority in the scheme of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. The petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of alternate equally efficacious remedy.
