Date : August 4, 2016.
P. C. :
1.
By the impugned order, Respondent No.1 has reduced the intake capacity of the Petitioner's college in respect of M.E. First Year of Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering courses to Nil. This was done on the ground of deficiency in faculty. Mr. Desai, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioner invited our attention to the documents at Exhibit- K and F and tried to convince us that the Petitioner has maitnained desired student-faculty ratio. This fact is disputed by Mr. Sakhare, learned Senior Counsel appearing for Respondent No. 1.
2.
Having gone through those documents, especially patilsr 1 / 2
number of faculty and number of students admitted in the second year of those courses and number of students that would be admitted in the first year once affiliation is granted, we do not find any error in the contention of Respondent No. 1 that the Petitioner has not complied with the requirement of maintaining desired student-faculty ratio. In that view of the matter, we do not see any reason to entertain this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. [SMT. ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, J.] [RANJIT MORE, J.] patilsr 2 / 2
