Learned APP submits that a first information report (`FIR') was registered on 25 April 2016. The complaint was filed by the Petitioner on 7 July 2015 addressed to the Administrator, Silvassa with copy to Khanvel Police Station. We find substance in the submission of learned counsel for the Petitioner that though the complaint was made on 7 July 2015 with a copy to Khanvel Police Station, Police took one year to register FIR. 2.
The Superintendent of Police, Silvassa shall call explanation from the concerned police for delay in registering the FIR. 3.
We direct the police to complete the investigation at the earliest, if not completed so far. If necessary, the Petitioner be interrogated.

With these directions, the petition stands disposed of. Registrar (Judicial-I) to forward copy of this order to the Superintendent of Police, Silvassa.
