In view of the fact that the contempt alleged is of an order passed by the Civil Judge, Junior Division, Pune and the jurisdiction of this court under Article 215 of the Constitution of India is being invoked, I am of the considered opinion that Order XXXIX Rule 2A provides for an alternative and efficacious remedy to the Petitioner.

By this time, it is settled position that the contempt jurisdiction is to be exercised sparingly.
