Learned senior counsel informs that the Appeal preferred against the order of the District Superintendent of Land Records, Alibag dated 26/04/2022 is not heard in view of the existing political scenario.

Learned AGP opposes the aforesaid claim as according to him appropriate mechanism for hearing of appeals is already provided.

In the aforesaid background, the petition stands disposed of with the directions to the State Government to decide the revision of the petitioners expeditiously and in any case within a period of twelve weeks from the date of the appearance of the parties. akn 1/2

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners assures that the petitioners shall appear before the State Government at the earliest. In case, if the petitioners appeal is not decided, we expect the State Government to decide the petitioners prayer for stay, forthwith.
