This is an application sent through Jail by the applicant with a grievance that since last 22 months he is in prison and till date charge in his case i.e. Special (NDPS) Case No.157/2013 has not been framed. Ms. Gonsalvez, learned counsel for Respondent No.1 submits that as a matter of fact the investigating agency has submitted a draft charge to the court but till today charge is not framed. In the circumstances, the trial court is directed to make an endeavor to complete the trial within a period of year from the date of receipt of this order. The application is disposed off accordingly.
