Feeling aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Respondent No. 1 - The Administrative Officer on the representation cum notice dated 19th December, 2016 (Exhibit B) which was served upon the Respondents on 20th December, 2016, the Petitioner has filed this Petition.

According to the Petitioner, out of the amount payable to the Petitioner, 90% has already been released and for the balance 10% amount, for no reason the amount has been withheld by the Respondents. In the circumstances, the Petitioner has Vishal Parekar 1/2

prod-512-wp-8085-2017.doc submitted the representation (Exhibit B) as aforesaid but till date no decision has been taken on it.

Having regard to the fact that the Petitioner's representation has neither been replied nor has been acted upon, we are inclined to dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No. 2 - The Commissioner to look into the Petitioner's grievance and take appropriate decision on it in accordance with law. In case any amount is found to be payable to the Petitioner, the same be paid to the Petitioner.

Let the decision as aforesaid be taken by the Respondent No. 2- The Commissioner as expeditiously as possible but not later than three months from the date of appearance of the Petitioner before Respondent No. 2.

The Petitioner to appear before the Respondent No. 2 on 10th August, 2017 at 3.00 pm.

The Petition is disposed of as such.
