The only relief sought in this petition is to issue directions to the appellate authority under Section 60 of the Maharashtra Police Act to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner petitioner challenging the order of externment.

The appeal is pending before the said authority since 23rd June, 2022.

Considering the fact that there is no stay to the proceeding the appellate authority, Divisional Commissioner Pune is requested to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order.
