Perused the case diary and investigation papers. Applicant No. 1 is public servant whereas Applicant No.2 is mother of Applicant No.1.

This Court had granted ad-interim protection in favour of both the Applicants on 4th July 2018. It appears that on 25th May 2018 Ashok Chabukswar, the father-in-law of the Applicant No.1 had received an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- through a bank transfer from the account of Applicant No.1 towards expenses of marriage etc. as is claimed by the learned Counsel for Applicant.

Apart from above, the fact remains that the postmortem report does not disclose any external injuries on the body of the deceased Laxmi @ Sandhya.

That being so, ad-interim protection granted earlier is confirmed. In addition, both the Applicants shall attend the Investigating Officer on 11th , 13th and 15th February 2019 between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and thereafter as and when directed.
