Parties through their Counsel. The contention of the Petitioner is that she had applied for grant of electricity connection at her premises. The application was processed by the Respondents and sanctioned also. However, in the meantime on account of an objection being raised by the Applicants in Civil Application No. 2640 of 2016 the file has not been further moved.

Learned Counsel appearing for the BEST submits that the Competent Authority of the BEST shall consider the matter and shall pass appropriate orders on the Petitioner's application in accordance with law. He, however, submits that since there is an objection the parties may be directed to appear before the Competent Authority who will take further appropriate steps/decision.

Having considered the above statements we dispose of this Petition by directing the Petitioner as also the Applicants of the above Civil Application to appear before the Divisional Engineer, BEST, Wadala, Dadar(East) (the Competent Authority) on 26 th October 2016 at 3.00 P.M.

The said Authority shall consider the grievances as may be raised by the Applicants to the application filed by the Petitioner and shall take appropriate decision within a week from 26 th October, 2016.

The Petition and the Civil Application are disposed of accordingly.
