The learned AGP on instructions states that the Revision Applications filed under Section 84 of the Maharashtra Minor Mineral Extraction (Development and Regulation) Rules, 2013 (the Rules) by the Petitioners before the Revenue Minister will be decided within a period of four weeks from today. The statement is accepted as an undertaking given to this Court. 2.

We are making it clear that since the Revision Applications are pending before the Revenue Minister since long, the Revenue Minister shall decide the same as undertaken and not seek any further extension. 3.

The Civil Judge, Senior Division, Karad before whom Regular Civil Suits filed by the Petitioners are pending, shall dispose off the Applications filed by the State in the said Suits on the adjourned dates i.e. on 10th and 11th December, 2021. No party shall seek time before the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Karad unless absolutely necessary.

If the Order passed by the Revenue Minister is against the Petitioners, the interim protection i.e. not to handover possession of the subject premises to the successful bidder shall continue for a period of one week from the date of service of the Order on the Petitioners / their Advocate.

A copy of this Order shall be forthwith forwarded by the learned AGP to the Revenue Minister.

The above Writ Petitions as well as Interim Applications stand disposed off.
