The applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with C.R. No.775 of 2020, registered with Satara City Police Station, Satara, on 8 October 2020, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, r/w. 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Ms. Jyoti Nalavade filed an FIR, asserting that she opened a current account at the Dattatray Maharaj Kalambe Co-operative Bank, Jawali Branch. Initially, she secured a Rs.50,00,000/- loan, using her property as collateral. Subsequently, she obtained another Rs.50,00,000/- loan from the Satara Branch, followed by an additional Rs.25,00,000/- loan from the same Branch. It is stated that she was diligently repaying the loans. It is alleged that, in 2016, there was some misappropriation from the account of her brother-in-law and husband to the tune of Rs.33,00,000/-. The FIR states that, in February 2018, the applicant, who held the position of chairman at the time, along with other directors, approached the informant. The applicant assumed responsibility for recovering Rs.
30,00,000/-, which had been lost by the informant's brother and husband. However, in exchange of this task, he demanded Rs.9,00,000/-. The informant provided Rs.8,40,000/- for this purpose, but no action was taken by the applicant. Consequently, this FIR has been filed due to the alleged misappropriation of the afore-mentioned amount. 4.
On 18 January 2021, this Court issued an ad-interim order granting pre-arrest bail to the applicant. The applicant has been under interim protection for more than 3 years. Consequently, the ad-interim protection has now been confirmed. Hence, the following Order:

ORDER
(i) In light of this, if the applicant is arrested in C.R. No.775 of 2020, registered with Satara City Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 420, r/w. 34 of the Indian Penal Code, he be released on bail on executing a P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- and furnishing one or more sureties in the like amount;
(ii) The applicant shall attend the Satara City Police Station, as and when directed by the Investigating Officer; (iii) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly induce the prosecution witnesses and tamper with the prosecution evidence.
