By this application, the applicant has sought to condone the delay of 29 days in filing the first appeal against the judgment and award dated 29/07/2016 passed by the Vice Chairman, Railway Claims Tribunal, Mumbai Bench, Mumbai in Application No.OA(IIU) MCC/2011/1226.

Considering the reasons stated in paragraph 2, 3 and 4 of the application, which in my considered view constitute sufficient ground, delay is condoned. Appeal be registered subject to removal of office objections, if any. Ms. Shailaja Nair, learned counsel waives service on behalf of respondent. Appeal be listed 'for admission' on 06/12/2019.
