P.C.:- Heard Mr. Bagwe, the learned counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. P.H. Gaikwad-Patil, APP for the Respondent No.1-State. The prayer made in this Petition is to expedite the trial of C.C. No.2116/SS/2013 and CC No.920/SS/2014 pending on the file of the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, 68th Court at Borivali, Mumbai.

The Petitioner No.1 is 72 years old and Petitioner No.2 is 62 years of age. It is submitted that charge was framed in the year 2014 and since then trial has not commenced. Considering the age of the Petitioners in my considered view trial needs to be expedited. Hence, Megha 1/2

The learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, 68th Court at Borivali, Mumbai is directed to dispose of the said two cases as expeditiously as possible, in any case within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.
The Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
