Learned APP on instructions submitted that, subsequent to the rejection of Application dated 22nd June, 2020 for furlough leave of Petitioner by the Competent Authority by its Order dated 5th November, 2020, the fresh Application of Petitioner for furlough leave dated 12th August, 2022 has been allowed by the Competent Authority by its Order dated 3rd December, 2022 and the Petitioner has been directed to be released on furlough leave for a period of 28 days. That, Petitioner has been directed to submit cash security of Rs.10,000/- for his release on furlough leave. Petitioner by his communication dated 7th February, 2023 addressed to the Jail Authority has stated that, as soon as his relatives furnish the said cash security he will go on furlough leave.
