This Misc. Civil Application seeks transfer of a matrimonial proceeding filed by the Respondent-husband against the Applicant-wife and pending before the Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division at Sangli. The transfer is sought to the court at Solapur, where the Applicant's proceeding under Domestic Violence Act against the Respondenthusband is pending. The only practical grievance of the Applicant appears to be unaffordability of expenses to be incurred for attending the matter at Sangli. It is submitted that the Applicant is staying at Aherwadi, Solapur; the court at Sangli is at a considerable distance
Chittewan 2/2 33.. MCA 204-19.doc and attendance in that court involves considerable expenses, which the Applicant simply cannot afford. The Respondent-husband is not averse to payment of reasonable expenses to the Applicant for attending proceedings at Sangli. Accordingly, Misc. Civil Application is disposed of by directing the Respondent to pay conveyance and other expenses quantified at Rs.1,500/- per day of appearance before the Sangli Court to the Applicant-wife. These expenses shall be paid on each day of the Applicant's attendance for the court proceedings at Sangli. Each day's expenses shall be paid on the very day of attendance and in cash against a receipt acknowledged by the Applicant.
