The Petitioner seeks direction to accept the 4th year VIII Semester examination form. The examination forms were to be filled in from 24th June 2022 till 4th July 2022 and with late fees, the same can be filled in upto 8th July 2022.

Admittedly, the Petitioner has not filled in the examination form upto 8th July 2022. It is submitted that the Petitioner had undergone some surgery that appears to be on 7th June 2022 and was hospitalised for five days. He was discharged probably on 12th June 2022.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate appearing for the

Pallavi 31-wp-8714-2022.doc University that as hall tickets were already issued and exams are starting from tomorrow, it may not be possible to arrange for the hall ticket.

No doubt, the Petitioner has approached the Court at the 11th hour.

In case the Petitioner is otherwise eligible and if it is possible for the University to arrange for the Hall Tickets then the University may make efforts to issue hall ticket to the Petitioner for the VIII Semester examination of B.A. LL.B. Course to be held on 26th July 2022 by accepting examination form of the Petitioner with late fees. 6.

The Petitioner shall immediately submit the examination form with late fees to the University. The University, if it is possible for it and if the Petitioner is otherwise eligible to appear for the examination may consider issuance of hall ticket to the Petitioner by accepting the examination form with late fees. 7.

We have considered this Petition in view of the fact that the Petitioner has undergone surgery and was incapacitated for the relevant period.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
