Mr. Kakde, learned AGP at the outset, having taken instructions makes a statement that the State Government has rejected the petitioner's proposal for starting a new law college. In the light of this statement, the petition is rendered infructuous. Mr. Thomas, learned counsel for the petitioner, accordingly, seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh one challenging the order of the State Government rejecting the petitioner's said proposal.
