1) This is an application for extension of one month period to complete the formalities of furnishing surety and to remain on cash bail during the said period.
2) The applicant was released on bail by this Court by an Order dated 13.6.2016 passed in Criminal Application No. 659 of 2016 on certain terms and conditions. The applicant was permitted to furnish cash bail of Rs.50,000/- for a period of one month from 21st June, 2016. 3) The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant's relative namely Madhav Kamath has expressed his willingness to remain surety to the applicant and has already submitted the papers to the concerned authority for getting the solvency certificate. On instructions,
2 /2 906-appa-899-16.doc he submitted that said certificate will be received within four weeks from today and necessary formalities for completing the procedure before the Trial Court will be effected within a period of two weeks thereafter. 4) In view of the above, the period to furnish surety is hereby extended by six weeks from today and the applicant is permitted to remain on cash bail during the said period.
