The applicant has filed the present application seeking his release on temporary bail in the wake of the demise of his father on 18/07/2022, while he was residing in Lalbaug, Mumbai. The release is sought on the ground that he has to attend the last rituals and by the application, request is made to release him on bail for 4 weeks. Yesterday, the learned APP was directed to ascertain the factual position and she affirmed the demise of the father of the applicant. 2.

The learned counsel for the applicant submit that, he came to be arrested in connection with C.R.No.90/2019 on 14/03/2020. He was released on bail in the wake of Covid-pandemic on 11/06/2020, and he surrendered back on 13/08/2021 and was put in judicial custody. 3.

Looking to the track record of the applicant, when he has promptly reported after the pandemic was over and considering the reason Ashish Mhaske

2/2 38 IA 2374.22.doc for which he seek his release on bail, I am inclined to grant the application. The applicant is directed to be released on temporary bail from 28/07/2022 to 4/08/2022. The applicant shall surrender himself on or before 4.00 p.m of 5/08/2022.

The Superintendent of Police, Taloja Jail shall take effective steps so that the applicant shall be released before 4:00 p.m on 28/07/2022.The applicant shall mark his attendance on every alternate day between 11:00 a.m to 12:00 noon.

: ORDER :

(a) Application is allowed.

(b) Applicant - Sagar Rajaram Chavan shall be released on temporary bail from 28/07/2022 to 4/08/2022 in connection with C.R.No. 90 of 2019 registered at Kalachowki Police station on furnishing P.R. bond to the extent of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties of the like amount.

(c) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with facts of case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Officer. The Applicant should not tamper with evidence. (d) The applicant shall mark his attendance to the concerned police station on every alternate day between 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. (e) The applicant shall surrender himself on or before 4.00 p.m of 5/08/2022.
