By the impugned order, Family Court rejected the application of the present petitioner to further cross-examine the original petitioner. Considering reasons mentioned in the application, no fault can be found with the Trial Court. However, in the interest of justice, opportunity needs to be afforded to the present petitioner to cross-examine the original petitioner. Hence, following order: a) The Family Court shall fix appropriate date on Monday, i.e. 18 September 2023;

b) On the date so fixed, the present petitioner shall complete cross-examination of the original petitioner. If the present petitioner fails to complete the cross-examination or fails to crossexamine the original petitioner, her right to cross-examine shall

With this clarification, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
