Learned trial Court was directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within six (6) months from the receipt of the order passed by this Court dated 23/10/2020. Thereafter, by an order dated 23/7/2021, this Court directed the trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.

There was one more Writ Petition 9led by the applicant bearing Writ Petition No.2747 of 2021 challenging an order passed below Exhibit 65 which records that there was a stay granted to the trial of the proceedings in C.C.No.1099/PW/2015.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that there are cross cases which are being tried by learned Metropolitan Magistrate bearing C.C. No.1099/PW/2015 and C.C.No.253/PW/2016. Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that in both the cases the evidence has been recorded and now only the arguments are to be heard. 4.

Considering that there was stay to the proceedings in one of the cases, the time earlier granted to conclude the trial needs to be extended and the same stands extended by further period of three (3) months from today. 5.

The trial Court is requested to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three (3) months from today.

The Criminal Application is disposed of.
