1] Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. The prayer in the Writ Petition has been made seeking to challenge an order passed by the Collector, Palghar below Exhibit F dated 22nd Marach, 2018, where prayer of the Petitioner seeking deletion of the term 'Adivasi' from the records of the 7/12 extract, has been rejected.

2] Learned counsel for the Petitioner asserts that the said entry was erroneous for various reasons advanced. However, we refrain ourselves from entertaining the present Writ Petition and 1/2

(3)WP-8588-19.odt grant the Petitioner liberty to move an Appeal under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Copde, 1966, before the Divisional Commissioner. If such an appeal is preferred within a period of 30 days alongwith an application for condonation of delay, the Appellate Authority shall do well to condone the delay since the Petitioner had approached this Court in the present Writ Petition. The Appellate Authority shall proceed with the matter on merits and dispose off the same expeditiously. 3] With these observations and directions, Writ Petition No.8588 of 2019 stands disposed off.
