CORAM : A.S. GADKARI, J.
17th June, 2015.
P.C. :
This is an Application for restoration of Writ Petition No.2096 of 2014. By the order dated 15th July, 2014 this Court dismissed the Writ Petition for non-prosecution as the Petitioner had failed to comply with the order dated 1st July, 2014.
2.
The learned counsel for the Applicant submits that though he tried to comply with the order dated 1st July, 2014, as the papers were not received by the office during the course of the day, he could not comply with the same. I have gone through the pleadings made in the present Application and I am satisfied that in the interests of justice, the Writ Petition deserves to be restored.
The present Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b).
PNP 2/2 APPW320-17.6 Amendment to be carried out within a period of two days from today, failing which the Petition shall stand dismissed without further reference to the Court.
